SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium

A few days ago Josh, Brooklyn, and I were graciously hosted by SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium. We had an absolutely AMAZING time and I wanted to take minute to share some of our day with you all.

Fortunately we got there right at open (11 am) and missed most of the afternoon rush. We were able to spend a lot of time in each spot/room and really enjoy the marine life while reading the interesting facts that are placed in each area. Our trip totaled about two hours.

We wandered through the shoaling ring and into some caves, which ended with a moon jelly wall, the most spectacular jellyfish tank. Next up was my personal favorite room, the shipwreck room! This room is designed to look like a wrecked ship and it was super immersive!

There's a pretty rad 180 degree tunnel, which is a warm up for the 360 degree tunnel. That's right...you have sharks and other creatures all around you...it was so wild!

Here's a fun fact for y'all...all of the sea turtles in the aquarium are rescues. They all have injuries that make it impossible for them to survive back in the wild.

We saw seahorses, sharks, turtles, and fish galore! We explored caves, a wrecked ship, and the everglades. We had a blast learning about and teaching Brooklyn how to respect and protect our oceans.

Overall I would say that SEA LIFE Orlando is a great place for small children! Almost everything was designed with the kiddos in mind – Brooklyn loved that the viewing portals were her level and she enjoyed the touch pool at the end of the visit.

I hope you all visit SEA LIFE Orlando Aquarium, whether you're local or just passing through.
